A personal development plan also works well around relationships If you have issues around commitment, you can use the chart to list personal as well as emotional goals related to your commitment to a relationship.

 Here’s a tip:  If you are thinking about marriage, you can chart what steps your soon to be spouse and you need to take in order to make the wedding a reality. You can even use your PDP chart to realistically document your goals for funding your wedding.

As I already pointed out, you can utilize a PDP in many facets of your life.  You can plan in areas such as finances, relationships, long term career goals, purchasing a home, getting fit or even losing weight.  These are all great examples of how a personal development plan can help you stay on track and truly achieve your dreams.

Similarly, a Chart can be used to support your various development plans.  The chart helps you to realistically plan and approach your life by listing your overall  objectives.  You’ll discover what you need to do in order to reach your objectives.
