Prosperity affirmations are self- affirmations which are intended to create a mindset that can actually draw prosperity to you...
Both children and adults familiar with that little phrase…“I think I can, I think I can”—are already familiar with something that bears a striking resemblance to prosperity affirmations. In the same way that the Little Engine that Could - tells himself, “I think I can”… and then achieves his goal, affirmations can actually guide you towards certain goals, paths and outcomes.
Prosperity affirmations are arguably the most popular words of affirmations out there. Why? Because everyone loves to be prosperous! It should come as no surprise that simply searching for these kinds of affirmations reveals thousands upon thousands of websites filled with techniques, tricks and quotes for affirming prosperity.
Do affirmations work? Well, let’s take a look at some of the more positive, powerful prosperity affirmations used by people living all around the world.
“I was prosperous, am prosperous and will always be prosperous.”
It might be tempting to think on the things that you don’t have, especially when you are trying to achieve a more prosperous state. But this sort of thinking only encourages staying below where you want to be. Telling yourself that you have already achieved it, and that it will never change, is an excellent way to draw prosperity towards yourself.
“I allow all good things to come into my life and I enjoy them.”
This is one of my favorites…and I repeat it constantly. Over the years, I have experienced many “good things” as a result of those words of affirmation and belief. And good things are meant to make us feel happy!
Life is meant to be enjoyed. Far too many people focus on allowing so many negative things into their lives—which, naturally, make them miserable. But an affirmation about letting all good things come into your life… and more importantly, enjoying those good things, is a great way to dispel that negativity that can actually hamper your life!
“I let go of all resistance to prosperity and it comes to me naturally.”
This might be a surprising fact, but many people actually block prosperity from coming into their lives—both consciously and subconsciously. Some people might be afraid of what prosperity can bring into their lives, or what it might change about their relationships, their homes, and even their personality. These restraints make it more difficult for prosperity to come to you, because it is passively, or sometimes even actively, being resisted.
Another aspect to this self-affirmation is this: “it comes to me naturally.” So many people try to force prosperity on them, and it almost always backfires. Prosperity cannot be dragged into your life. It needs to be let in, like a welcome guest. Prosperity affirmations which focus on letting yourself become prosperous, instead of trying to make yourself become prosperous, will help you welcome more prosperity into your life.
